How this page works
It is updated by hand. There is no automatic feed yet, so during a short outage this page may lag reality. If the app is not working and this page says everything is fine, trust the app and tell us — that gap is itself worth knowing about.
This page is served from Cloudflare's network, while the homeserver runs on separate infrastructure. So it stays up during the failure it most often needs to describe — a homeserver or sign-in outage. If Cloudflare itself is down, this page goes with the app, and there is nothing here that would tell you so.
Is it me or is it you?
A quick way to tell them apart:
Probably us — nothing loads, sign-in hangs, or edits stop syncing for everyone in a workspace.
Probably your account — you are told your account is locked (a lapsed trial or subscription: reactivate it), or a new device asks for a recovery key. Neither is an outage.
Either way, tideworksupport@proton.me reaches a human. Including the build shown under Account settings → Help & legal saves a round trip.
